GERMAN OD WINTER MITTS

These mittens are the cold weather issue mittens from the German Army.  Olive green, with a waterproof membrane, fleece lined and grey leather palms and thumbs. In 2 styles. The older issue ones have full leather thumbs and leather over the front and are quite large and flat when not worn. The newer ones have a bit less leather on them and have a slight curl on them making it easier to grip things like ski poles or handlebars. Both feature an elasticated area under the wrist and an adjustable tape on the back. These are extremely warm and great quality. They do have a variably noticeable orange "A" on the back of each though, where they've been released from the German Government.
